Amazon Bans Authors Who are Critical of LGBT

The LGBT movement in the USA pretended to be fighting for equality and coexistence with traditional Christianity and conservative religious values. Now that it controls the economic, educational, entertainment and political institutions in the USA, it proceeds to snuff out any opposing views, especially the view of traditional biblical Christianity.
Example: Amazon bans books written by authors who are critical of the homosexual and transsexual movement:
Robert Gagnon, Anne Paulk, Ryan Anderson, Joseph Nicolosi, Joe Dallas, Alan Mendiger etc.
One observes related restrictions and bans by Google, Facebook & Pay Pal.

What happened to left wing lawyers, academics and journalists who once championed against banning of books? Indeed, Amazon’s digital book burning constitutes a graver violation of the freedom of the mind as the  global impact of Amazon far exceeds the impact of the burning of printed books which is limited to specific locations.
The LGBT community is no longer an oppressed and marginalized group, given its ability to exercise enormous power in banning books. When you have the power to dictate what other citizens may or may not read, that’s power. Indeed, the oppressed of yesterday has become the oppressors of today!

Note: While the situation is different in Malaysia, the LGBT movement now enjoys the support/patronage of the Biden administration to extend its global influence.

I operate with a simple distinction between the ordinary homosexual and the homosexual activist – As a fellow sinner who has experienced the healing grace of Christ, it is my duty to extend my Christian regard and if possible, reach out to any practising homosexual who needs the salvation and healing of Christ (like any other sinner with all his brokenness).

However, following Paul’s teaching in Romans 1, I reject LGBT ideologues/activists when they try to bring their deceptive ideology/propaganda into church. To paraphrase Calvin’s words, I oppose the wolves in sheep clothing but by God’s grace care for any afflicted sheep.

Online retailer Amazon has removed scholar Ryan Anderson’s book critiquing the transgender movement in its latest move suppressing conservative thought on LGBT issues…

“It’s obvious the critics hadn’t read the book,” Anderson said.
“People who have actually read my book discovered that it was a thoughtful and accessible presentation of the state of the scientific, medical, philosophical and legal debates,” Anderson argues. “Yes, it advances an argument from a certain viewpoint. No, it didn’t get any facts wrong, and it didn’t engage in any name-calling.”
He noted that the book earned praise from prominent medical experts and legal scholars.
Yet none of that matters anymore, he continued, nor does it matter how arguments are framed and presented. All that seems to matter, Anderson suggests, is whether one dissents from the new sexual orthodoxy…
“Three years after publication, in the very same week that the House of Representatives is going to ram through a radical transgender bill amending the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Amazon erases my book opposing gender ideology from their cyber shelves,” he explained. “Make no mistake, both Big Government and Big Tech can undermine human dignity and liberty, human flourishing and the common good”…

Anderson also questioned the timing of the removal as he had an op-ed published in The New York Post Monday in which he called the Equality Act “a sword” that will be used “to persecute those who don’t embrace newfangled gender ideologies.”

The book removal is the latest move the retail giant has made regarding LBGT issues, specifically content that scrutinizes transgender ideology.

The retail giant has also removed books where men and women who once lived and identified among the LGBT recounted their stories of transformation in Jesus Christ at the apparent behest of activists. According to Amazon, the books constituted a “violation of our content guidelines.”
